Works good. Once you get used to how it handles while cutting, it’s a breeze to use. Just be very careful.

So I took this out of the package, and found that I had to take the blue hub out to get it on my grinder. In the process the two plates came apart and I had to reassemble it. It is easy to put the chain on backwards. Make sure you look at the rotation diagram on the bottom plate and assemble it so that it cups down. You will likely have to adjust the blade so that it fits evenly in between the plates before you tighten it down the drive shaft bolt for use. Overall I am happy. Another tool in my kit for whatever project comes my way.

I love this thing, it cuts wood like butter but you have to be careful, use your grinder guard, safety glasses and some thick gloves because this things could cut your fingers off.

Used this wood carving disc to cut most of my arcade housing. Cut through the wood very easy and clean. If you can use a grinder then you will easily be able to use this disc.

I have never used a similar product but this one certainly fills the need for which I bought it. The transaction was processed very smoothly. Therefore I am a happy buyer!

This is a nice little thing to add to your carving arsenal. Keep in mind to make sure the plates and chain are secured correctly. Use a paddle switch trigger so that if you let go it stops, unlike a regular switch that stays on if you drop it. Keep it sharp to avoid burning up your teeth.

A friend and fellow woodworking enthusiast told me about these type cutting wheels with chainsaw teeth. He was enthused as these type of cutting/grinding wheels make quick work of jobs that are impossible or hard to tackle with other type cutters and grinders. This set attracted me as you get two cutting wheels for what I think is a pretty reasonable price. And I’m glad that I got two as another woodworking buddy made off with one of them on the day they arrived. After watching my buddy tackle hollowing out an old hardwood stump (oak I believe) for a planter I am thoroughly impressed. This cutter sliced through the hardwood with ease, making fairly quick work out of a job that would have taken quite some time with other cutters. I’ve included some pictures of the cutting wheel in action. (Pictures of my less than safety-minded friend working.) Take note that I highly recommend that the guards and stabilizing handle be left on your angle grinder when using this tool. You will also need thick leather gloves and a full face mask as this cutting wheel will turn your angle grinder into a cutting beast!

I’m using this tool for carving out bowls from various types of wood trunk. It does the first rough cut just as expected. I suggest goggles and the side handle on your grinder. This is not for kids. It takes a bit to hold on to. I’m ordering a second.

This is exactly what I needed to complete my project. I used this to turn a tree stump into a planter. Putting the chain on took a bit getting used to but now its easy. It is stated in the manual and I agree that this should really only be used on an angle grinder that has a paddle switch.

This thing eats wood like a hot knife through butter. Will also eat fingers or anything else that gets too close!!! Use a lot of respect and safety gear, but be prepared to remove some wood!
