I used these to paint a diving board to look like a peice of wood. They worked well. You have to try several times before it comes out just right, but the experience is fun.

Got this after discovering that the dining table I was refinishing was partly particle board, so I couldn’t stain it and used this to create the wood grain look. Since then I’ve also done a plastic-y side table (pictured), and I want to turn everything into “wood” now!
