Works better than advertised. Description says it will strip as small as 24g bit I was using it on 10 conductor 28g ribbon cable for Dupont connectors and it worked flawlessly every time. Cuts down to 14g without having to adjust it. It does leave a slight indention where it grips the cable or wire but not once did it break the insulation. For 18 bucks you can’t go wrong and wish I had found these earlier. Would have saved me a ton of time and sore fingers.

I wasted a lot of time stripping wires with my pocket knife and decided to try this “new technology” lol. It’s so much easier and safer to strip wires with this tool, and I get the stripping done much quicker and did a better job. Why I didn’t buy these years ago I will never understand! Excellent value for the money. Excellent tool for the job. I highly recommend.

I’m not entirely sure of this yet. It seems to cut more than strip due to inconsistencies in pressure after adjusting the tensioner screw. Perhaps it takes some getting used to.

Great for use on electrical wiring except “super flexible” 10 gauge. Whenever I tried to skin the insulation off of “super flexible” stranded 10 gauge wire, more fine strands of wire were removed with the insulation than I was comfortable with. I ended up using a box cutter to split the ends of the wire, peel each half back, make sure no fine strands of wire were sticking to it, cut the insulation off with micro-shears, and then crimp my connectors on. The strands in “super flexible” wire are so fine that even with box cutters, you will still end up cutting a few strands off, but not nearly as many as with a wire stripping tool.

Stripping wires 5.5mm wire was easier with this set of manual cutters – compared to the dinosaur style strippers that bite the wire in two or leaving on side perfect and the other unusable. Here you can feel the plastic begin to stretch – rather than praying it doesn’t. Take it off completely. In the end, it’s faster, nester and saves you time.
