    i haven’t been able to actually test how good they work, but the knob is super strong. i put them on my shoestrings, and they seem to hold well.

    I like them for my gym shoes, which are always coming untied.They hold my shoes in place and I no longer have a problem with tripping on my laces while I exercise.A well made, inexpensive product.

    These have the most powerful springs I’ve seen on similar items. I used the first pair on my hiking boots and found that, with sufficient fiddling, the laces would fit but it is a close thing. Then again these boots have some hefty laces so the locks should work on most.
