I was skeptical about it. But I was surprised with how strong they hold a connection. Made a loop with 2 connectors on 16g wire, it’s as strong as the wire itself. Be careful when getting the solder hot, if you burn a hole in the coating, it will spray out hot solder.. but. All in all, it made a great connection, if done right. It picked up 30 lbs. Easily. (I covered the connector on one, just to see what it would look like heat shrieked in black.) Current flows properly. Definitely better than regular butt connections. I’ll be buying more.
