Quick setup for repeat play
Simply turn the power switch under the snake to “On,” and place all the gold nuggets in the center of Rattlesnake Jake’s ring. Gently push in his head until it locks into the starting position, place the cowboy hat on his head, and you’re ready to play!
Develops fine motor skills
Are you feeling brave? Look Rattlesnake Jake right in the eyes while you steal a gold nugget, and place it in front of you. Watch out – you never know when he might strike!
Unpredictable action
After grabbing one gold nugget, you may choose to flip the Fate Coin for a chance to grab a second one. If the Fate Coin lands on the crossed nugget side, your turn ends immediately, and you must give one nugget back to Rattlesnake Jake. Beware of his rattle!
Fun, exciting gameplay
If Rattlesnake Jake jumps forward on your turn, you must return half of your nuggets to him, and your turn is over. The player with the most gold when the last nugget has been taken wins the game. So fun, you’ll want to play again and again!

I was skeptical at first, but we have had a lot of fun playing this game. It is relatively well constructed, except for Jake’s hat, which is nearly impossible to secure onto his head. We just lay the hat on his head, so when Jake strikes, it goes flying, which make the kids laugh even harder. We play it with a 4 year old and he absolutely loves playing “Jake Snake”
