I bought this to use when I am making wine and need to transfer the wine from a bucket to a glass carboy. This is great for transferring liquids. The only thing that did surprise me a bit was the batteries used. For some reason, I thought I already had the batteries needed but I did not. This pump uses D-size batteries which are the biggest batteries that were used in old flashlights. Besides that, it is easy to use, you submerge the pump in the liquid and flip the switch to turn on. It does not pressurize the output liquid and I would compare the flow/pressure of the liquid to having a hose on a bucket.

These are great tools for the elderly when it comes to lifting heavy liquid items like gasoline to pour into tractors or lawn mowers. One can sit down on a stool and let the transfer pumps do all the work of filling the gas tank or any other container that requires lifting and pouring. This save wear and tear on ones knees and back from lifting and bending over to pour liquids from one container to another.

So far these have done well. They arent the fastest but it beats holding up a fuel can with the pita new pour spouts to try and fill a lawnmower, tractor etc.

I just got the bumps and have not used them yet however I test a time and they work fine
