Since I’ve mastered the macaron cookies I figured I would embark on making heart shaped ones. Overall the mat worked well. I don’t remember reading any instructions but let me say that if you purchase this the trick is to do a single piping motion. I started from the right side of the heart, piped down and then worked my self up to the left. When I tried doing two different motions, meaning from the right to the middle and then again from the left to the middle my heart shapes came out not very pretty. My only probably is my macarons are slightly sticking to my mat, unlike my other regular silicon mats were they release completely clean. Maybe I will play around with the heat and which level I am using in the oven to see if that helps solve the issue.

Used twice for cookies & pastry sheet to roll out cookies. Feels greasy even after using soap & hot water but I guess that’s what makes it work.

Bought this for Valentine’s Day! Very easy to pipe my macarons on. Make sure you wait for your macarons to be completely dried before peeling them off the mat so you have a nice clean back with no sticking.

With all of the good out of the way here is the bad. I ordered 1 box which was suppose to contain 2 half sheet and 2 third sheet silicone liners. But when my order arrived it was missing 1 third sheet liner. Our replacement was also missing 1 third sheet liner. So I gave up. Luckily Amazon let us keep our first order and sent us the replacement for free. So we ended up with the extra and that works out great.
