Great lights. They are very durable and bright. The bag is a little flimsy. The first bag I received had a broken zipper. Customer service was outstanding. They responded to my email almost instantly and sent me a replacement bag. I would purchase these again.

Very nice and compact — six round, orange flares that fit in a neat orange canvas “mini-duffel bag” — the light they give off is very bright — there are several modes — and they have strong magnets so they can be affixed anywhere on your car. I like that you can reach out your car window and affix them to the sides of your car and the roof and don’t have to get our of your car – you never know what’s out there!

I’ve looked at various brands of this item. Settled on this one because it was a couple dollars less expensive, and reviews were ok. They are actually slightly larger than I expected, which just makes them better than expected. I will probably buy an additional set for my wife’s vehicle.

Well I can’t comment on the longevity of these, but they seem nicely made and I wasn’t disappointed with them from a construction standpoint. I’m not sure I like the idea of having to take screws out to change batteries, but that won’t likely be an issue as long as you stay on top of making sure the batteries inside don’t go bad. And seeing how this is about 10 years for most alkalines, I don’t this as an issue. I’ll take them being water resistant over a quick battery change. Hopefully when I pull these out to use them on the side of the road on a dark and rainy night, they’ll work without issue!

I bought these knowing full well I may (hopefully) never have to use them. So as I’m putting batteries in them I’m testing. As I go along sure enough I got one that’s a dud. BUMMER! Well I still have five that do work. So all is good, kind of, I guess. UPDATE: I read a review that said they had to use different brand of batteries to make them all work. I tried that and it worked. The other battery must have reset the innards, if that’s possible, so now it’s working even with the first batteries. ELECTRONIC GIZMOS!!! Who gets it anyway? Changing rating to 5 stars from 3.

Excellent designed product. Our FD is using these instead of traditional safety flares. There are flexible light pattern settings and can be used on top of traffic cones or underneath to illuminate. Set on the roadway they can be run over without breaking apart. Magnet is strong for sticking on side of vehicle or use handy hanger which sits neatly in groove when not used.

A little smaller than expected but seems great. There is a retractable hook and magnet on the back. It looks like it will be rain-proof without any problems as long as you tightly seal/screw it in. Lots of different settings for the lights. Flashing, solid, etc. Compact and with a little carrying case to toss it in the trunk overall happy. I will update review if I ever find out they suck. Takes 3 AAA batteries per little “flare” and it comes with 3 lights/”flares”. The light is orange.

I got the 12 pack so that I could give family members a couple of lights each. Enclosed instructions explain battery installation; without them, the cover is hard to figure out. A very sharp, tiny screwdriver or tip of a knife is needed to remove the cover. The single switch provides multiple functions: a short push turns on the flasher or advances between different flash patterns, a long 3-second push will turn off light at any time, depress switch twice to turn on three LED white lights for illumination.
