I used for custom furniture I build at home. Really strong and look nice. The screws that come with it are short, so you may wish to use longer ones to build stronger support.

Built some doweled shelves for craft closet for the wife, these just stiffen things up nicely. Good quality and will hold up well over time. Screws will pull out way before these will bend, bought smaller version as well, same thing. I like the idea of stainless. Good over time.

Excellent product. We used them to connect our fence 2x4s when we had to reconfigure our fence and add more posts. Work nicely!

I used these mending plates to connect two Ikea bookcases together for a cleaner look as when they sat alone, they were not sitting flush together. Installing the plates was very straight forward and the screws that came with them easily went in without any pre-drilling. I lined up the plate in the back of two bookcases, marked the holes with a pencil, screwed down one side first, then pushed the bookcases together with the holes lined up and screwed in the other side. Easy, solid mount, and very sturdy solution to tied two of these bookcases together. I did have to adjust the feet on the bottom of the bookcases a little to sit fully level but that was due to my wood flooring that is slightly textured and raised in a couple areas.I would recommend to anyone trying to connect furniture pieces together for a sturdy and seamless look.

I used these braces to connect a table top to a cube organizer unit. They are very strong and sturdy, gets the job done.

My brackets included 18 flat head screws, 3/4″ length. (2 spares). The heads of the screws are a bit small, so they don’t have a smooth, flush fit, but they do the job. (see photo) I suppose you could consider small screws a good thing if you can’t get your screws in straight. It gives room for the heads to sit sideways but still not protrude past the surface of the bracket.I noticed some other brackets/braces listed here on Amazon are about 1/3 as thick. (1mm) If you want to reinforce something which is already broken, 1mm thickness may not be the best choice. You could easily bend 1mm steel with your bare hands.

This was perfect to strap two Ikea Kallax shelves together – liked that it even came with the screws
