The applicator glides on so smoothly and the texture feels amazing on the lips! I definitely recommend using it alone to get the full effect. I am a Chapstick junkie so I usually apply a balm after applying a lip color. But this gloss is so creamy (yet not sticky) and glides on like silk that I don’t feel the need to put on a balm before or after applying. It’s one of the first lip products I’ve found that meets all my lip needs! It does not need constant reapplying, the color pops and almost has a holographic effect without being over-the-top. It just makes your lips look luscious even at night! It also doesn’t transfer to my straw or cup, which is a huge plus. Highly recommend.”
