Floating Cloud Light

✨  Magnetic levitation ambient light  ✨

☁️ The project is a collaboration between the two companies-combining the developed innovative suspension technology with the form and function of the Cloud product. ☁️

✨ Magnetic elements built into the base and cloud allow the cloud to float about 2.75 inches (6.99 cm) from the base. The base itself must remain plugged into a rechargeable lithium-ion battery to power the cloud, and achieve a completely wireless and barrier-free suspension when in use.

Through the full rotational movement and the slight vertical swing of the cloud, a more realistic atmospheric experience is possible. Our products also have the same sound response LED lights as our other interactive cloud products.

✨ After months of research and user testing, we found that embedding speakers in the cloud is not the right direction for many reasons. First, its increased weight significantly reduces the height of the cloud’s levitation. Secondly, the speaker greatly shortens our battery life and needs to be recharged more frequently. Third, you already have a speaker system, right! ? Just let your speakers do what they do best, and the cloud will do what it does best.

✨ Although our product does not have a speaker, it will respond to your existing audio system as well as voice and loud sounds. The embedded microphone allows our products to flash to the beat of the music in four different styles.

We also have a series of ambient light modes in white and color versions. Each of these modes is controlled by an infrared remote control.

✨ We use rare earth magnets, electromagnets and position sensors to hold them in place. There is a discrete infrared positioning beam in the center of the cloud. If it is blocked by an object (such as a hand), it will cause the cloud to “fall off”. It is a floating equilibrium point. In this case, the cloud has a soft felt bottom to cushion the fall.

To restore the cloud to a floating position, you can use your fingers to pry the cloud off the base, then use two hands to roughly fix the cloud in place, and slowly move the cloud left and right until you feel it “locked” in place.

✨ Our products are designed for permanent suspension and can be charged while floating. To extend battery life, we recommend turning off the light when not in use. For this, there is a hidden switch on the top of the cloud near the charging port.
