I originally purchased these for my 2015 Subaru Outback. They looked so good I purchased a set for my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, too. WHen installing, the instructions say to heat the guards with a blow dryer or such. I simply let them sit on the dash while I was at work. By the end of the work day, they were warm and pliable. Went on both vehicles very easily. Be sure to clean behind your door handles first. I have had these on my vehicles for a couple months and through several washings and rain storms with no problems.

I wish I knew such a thing existed years ago. My past two cars had several light scratches in the area behind the door handle – usually made by a ring or mechanic. They go on very easy if you follow the instructions – using the hair blower to heat the one side up. My vehicle is white but all the trim (bumpers, crossbars/rails, etc.) are black, so these actually add to the visible appearance of the car in addition to protecting it.

My friends thought these were OEM, they fit so well and look so good. Easily installed if you use the high heat setting on the hair dryer for about 2 minutes or so to soften them. After several car washes, rain and snow storms and lots of finger contact all four are still firmly in place.

After purchasing my wife a 2014 Forester, she asked me to find something to protect the door handle cup area. Well, she has nails and the old car had lots of scratches on the cup area. I tried the film types (those super cheap ones that are being sold everywhere) on my daily ride and was not impress. After searching online, I found these little gems. After heating the protector with hair dryer for a bit, it fits perfectly onto the cup area. It has been 6 months and they have protected the door handle cup area as expected. if i replace my commuter and get a new car, I will buy these again! Highly recommended.. 300%!!

Great idea that seems to work thus far. The magnet is strong enough for the product to stay in place. Be sure to make the product pliable by heating with a hair dryer on the BACK. Remove all bubbles/air under the product for a tight bond otherwise product will tend to move. Clean the door handle cup area first with alcohol before installation. I’ve just had this product for about a month but so far so good. High quality and nice design. It met all my expectations.

So cool. I like the carbon fiber look, and since they’re magnets there’s no puckering or gaps. I warmed them slightly with a hair dryer, and they fit well. I don’t want to scuff up my new car with nail marks, so these are just what I was looking for and they look great.

Fits our Lexus RX350 and works well after exposure to heat. When first installed, the material was a bit stiff and did not fit the contour of the door handle. But when exposed to heat (car was parked outside), the material became soft and fit perfectly. The magnet is strong enough to keep it in place after heavy rain and several car washes.
