I hated the idea of having to search for the magnet key thing that all those magnetic latches need. And I hate the knob covers because my hands are small too and often covered in moisturizer or cooking oils. These are awesome. Make sure you clean your wall and measure the length before adjusting and installing and these will last forever. I put them at the top of all of our closet doors and on any cabinets I don’t want my toddler in. He can’t figure out how to open them (he’s almost three) but he doesn’t rip and pull at things so I don’t know how these would fare with a more determined kid. My husband ripped one off the wall because he kept forgetting it was there, though please take that with a grain of salt because he also frequently accidentally injure himself and has dented just about every wall in our house. He is accident prone and doesn’t know his strength. That’s not a fault of this product as it has worked literally everywhere else. I’m buying more for our front and back door because the kid can now reach the deadbolt. 🥴

We needed something to keep our toddler from opening the freezer door and stop him from giving ice cubes to the dog. This strap was IT! Super easy to install. Simply peel off the paper on the adhesive pads and stick to the surface. Took about thirty seconds to do. It takes a bit of arm strength to pull open the freezer drawer. We have one that’s on the bottom. This strap is strong enough that when you try to open the freezer door, it won’t budge. A few times, I have forgotten the strap is there and have pulled full force like normal. The thing won’t budge!! You need to press the release button to open it. I’m sure our very smart toddler will figure out how to work the release button eventually, but for now, this works great for us! Buy with confidence!

I don’t know if these will come off the drawers without peeling paint off, but I do know they’ve made my bathrooms and kitchen toddler-proof! My very strong two year old hasn’t been able to get into anything since I’ve put these on every drawer and cabinet in my house. Keeps her safer so that’s all that matters. Well worth the money and super easy to install. We started with the magnetic drawer locks and those were a joke. Obviously these are a little more unsightly, but they actually work. I recommend placing them at night and not messing with them again until the next day so there is plenty of time for the adhesive to settle. I’ve had zero issues with them coming off, even with my toddler pulling as hard as she can to try to open cabinets/drawers.

A friend of mine who uses this on his RV fridge recommended it. We bought this for our refrigerator in the garage, the freezer door of which sometimes popped open. That’s bad news when you have frozen expensive meat and the temp in the garage is over 100 degrees. It worked absolutely perfectly!

I have a 90 pound Pit Bull who loves to get into the trash. I’ve tried every pet designed product and this is the first thing that my dog hasn’t been able to open. Now this is a clever dog who used to get into to the freezer, climb drawers to get onto counters to get anything edible. This child proof lock has defeated him. Of course I have to find the trash can on occasion because he’ll drag it around while he tries to get in. he’s even thrown it down the stairs but the lock stays shut.
