I was curious to see if this tray could really do what it claimed. And it did! 3/4″ high petite sirloin 4 oz steak from rock solid to totally defrosted in under 30 minutes. Amazing! I removed the foil and wax paper from my frozen steak and put it directly on the tray. Within 10 minutes you could see the bottom was defrosted. This is an amazing solution to last minute “What am I making for dinner?” problems. Easy to clean up. I am so happy with this tray I am telling all my friends about it!

There’s nothing worse than coming home from work and realizing that there aren’t any fresh proteins (chicken/steak/pork/fish) in the fridge to cook. With this defrosting tray, I’m able to grab something from the freezer and have it ready to cook in minutes! Really happy with this defrosting tray! I’m fairly impatient when it comes to cooking so it’s usually buy fresh or microwave defrost. But microwave defrost is a young man’s game meant for hungover Sundays and “Manager’s Special” chicken – not a nice Ribeye. This tray cuts down on defrost times from other methods and evenly thaws – making food prep a breeze. The silicone edging also ensures that my kitchen stays clean in the process. Highly recommend!
